The Jerome Chamber of Commerce was established in 1920, shortly after the establishment of Jerome itself in 1907. The Jerome Chamber serves as a membership organization to advance and strengthen the economic, civic and social vitality of our community.
At an elevation of 3,765 feet and located at the intersection of Interstate 84 and State Highway 79, Jerome is central to Southern Idaho. This friendly city is the county seat and serves as the civic and economic center of Jerome County. Agriculture dominates the economy but the city is broadening its base in the retail, manufacturing and service industries. Jerome has numerous well maintained parks, several golf courses in the area, a 40 bed hospital, library fairgrounds, museum, movie theater and several specialty shops in its downtown.
